Independent Contractor Home Health RN


PHHC is hiring an Independent Contractor RN to manage home care cases which includes making visits to the homes of the clients, calling physicians for orders, and documenting care per strict federal and state regulations. This is a great opportunity for those who are skilled at providing one-on-one nursing care, time management, and computer documentation. It is a unique opportunity for the select few nurses who are able to self-manage, be dependable, and enjoy working independently within their own company instead of as an employee.


We provide assistance (for a fee) in setting up your company if you have not already done so. We also have a comprehensive program (at no fee) for those new to the exciting field of home care.


Current Colorado or compact state nurse license, Valid Driver's license, proof of Motor vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation required. Must be able to pass criminal background check.


Benefits:

- Weekly pay

- Competitive rates - $60 to $100 per visit. Most visits are 1/2 hour. Initial visits require more time. No limit from Professional Home Health Care on the number of visits you may do per week - giving you control over your own income.


Duties include:

- Case manages clients assigned - making all nursing home visits to the client and providing care approved by us and ordered by the physician

- Assesses patients' needs, reports findings to physician, obtains orders for new needs, and implement the care plan

- Completes required documentation that makes evident patient/family needs, interventions, and progress in accordance with clinical, quality, and regulatory requirements.

- Assures all documentation is available in the electronic record daily by the deadline.
