Job description

We are currently hiring for a full time Registered Nurse (RN) within the Inpatient Services department here at Aspen Valley Health.
This is a short-term SEASONAL position with an anticipated start date of June 15, 2026 and an expected end date of September 12, 2026.
Work Shift:
Days - 12 Hour
Compensation Range:
$51.04 - $81.67Night and weekend shift differentials up to $10 per hour!
The compensation range listed is an estimate. Final compensation will be determined based on your qualifications including years of experience performing similar work, level of formal education in a relevant field of study, and any professional certifications related to the position.
Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications & Requirements
  • Associate degree in Nursing (ADN)
  • Unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Colorado, or ability to obtain prior to start date
  • Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition, and Stabilization (PEARS). May be obtained upon hire.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS). May be obtained upon hire.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
  • At least 1 year of experience as an RN.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's (BSN) or Master's (MSN) in Nursing preferred.
  • MEDSURG-BC and/or PED-BC preferred.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
  • Experience with EPIC preferred.
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Position Overview:
The Registered Nurse provides nursing care as part of our interdisciplinary team in the Patient Care Unit. Must be competent to provide care as the primary nurse in our rural Critical Access Hospital.
