Job Description

A Day in the Life 

  • This position works with Primary Care teams to coordinating quality projects, payer quality programs and incentives (e.g. MIPS, APMs) to improve patient outcomes and capture financial incentives. Develops action plans, such as data capture, HEDIS compliance, and care coordination to ensure practice processes are in place to insure positive outcomes for patients and financial outcomes for practices.  
  • Coordination of quality projects: payer quality programs and incentives and develop action plan to ensure practice processes in place to capture available monies to maximize value-based revenue.

  • Reviews and contributes to assessment and appropriateness of provider offices working closely with office administration and managers. 

  • Develops and maintains an atmosphere of personalized service through individual contact with key healthcare administrators, providers, community leaders, and individuals throughout the community.  

  • Collaborates with Physician Hospital Organization, administration, providers, and insurers on current and future quality and process improvement initiatives. Develops individualized goals.  

Qualifications

What's Required  

  • High School Diploma or GED 
  • Post-secondary education in business or related field
  • Solid understanding Medical Terminology is required
  • 2 years in the healthcare industry is preferred
  • Certified as a Medical Assistant or other clinically equivalent experience is preferred
