Job Description

Primary Responsibilities:


Receive inbound calls from individuals, brokers, benefit administrators, etc. and provide accurate and thorough information. DEVELOP new business consisting of small business accounts through direct telemarketing efforts for all Commercial affiliate product lines. MEET and EXCEED production standards and targets (e.g. calls handled, conversion ratios, groups and members sold) by utilizing sales skills and product knowledge

Prepare accurate quotation and proposal packages to fit individual client needs. COMPLETE and document all groups in a thorough, accurate and timely manner; submit all applications, follow-up calls, etc., for entry. Responsible for accurately tracking all information through the department's automated tracking system.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all products and plans. PARTICIPATE in sales seminars and ongoing training on product lines, telephone and sales skills and departmental systems and software.

Regular attendance is an essential function of the job. Performs other duties as assigned or required.

Qualifications

must be licensed to sell health insurance in the state of Florida (either the Health Insurance only 2-40 License OR Life, Health and Annuities license is acceptable 2-15 License)

Call Center experience preferred but not required

PLUS if the you have a non-resident license to sell in New York, but not required (HIP will help you obtain this license if you do not have it)

Medicare/Mediciad exp


Additional Information

Starting $17/hr with Quarterly Raises!!

Shifts: Monday- Sunday: 8a-8p shifts will vary must be available 7days a week after October 1st

Will work a 5 day work week, 8 hours per day throughout every week
