Your Role and Responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for the sales of Low Voltage IEC motors within the designated market/division, in line with the division strategy. Each day, you will achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying and developing new sales opportunities.

This role is contributing to Motion - Induction Motors in Center Spain, with focus on Madrid and Castilla-La Mancha.


In this role, you'll help run what runs the world, by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Communicating to customers about details related to delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions, in line with ABB's offering and strategy.
  • Ensuring efficient marketing activities and communicating value propositions to customers.
  • Identifying and driving the development of new market opportunities in the designated market.
  • Demonstrating a Hunter profile: proactive in prospecting, opening new accounts, generating new opportunities, and adding value throughout the sales process.
  • Managing administrative procedures in sales processes and supporting cash collection and project management activities, when needed.

Qualifications for the Role

  • Degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Electronic Engineering, or similar academic background.
  • Around 5 years of experience in Sales, preferably in technical/industrial environments.
  • Strong familiarity with Salesforce, Sales 7 Habits, customer intimacy and industrial markets such as COG, Pulp and Paper, Water, HVAC and related segments.
  • Clear Hunter profile proactive in prospecting, identifying decision makers, creating pipeline, challenging the status quo and bringing value to the customer conversation.
  • Passion for communication, leadership, problem-solving, empathy and strategic thinking.
  • At ease communicating in Spanish and English.
  • Valid drivers license in Spain.
