Position Summary...Leads the deployment, operationalization, and sustainment of division-wide processes and initiatives. Owns alignment of business strategy to execution by managing an implementation portfolio, ensuring interdependencies, resource capacity, and prioritization are effectively managed. Drives standardization, scalability, and adherence to operational processes to deliver consistent associate and customer outcomes.

The Supply Chain Specialty Division is a cross-functional operations organization within Walmart’s supply chain network that enables the execution and performance of diverse, high-complexity business lines—including areas such as hardlines, optical, print, and specialty distribution—by aligning field operations, transportation, engineering, and support functions under a unified structure. The division focuses on delivering consistent, scalable operational processes across multiple facilities and business models, with an emphasis on standardization, execution discipline, and continuous improvement, while partnering closely with strategy, people, finance, and compliance teams to ensure strong associate experience and reliable customer outcomes across the network.What you'll do...
  • Own deployment and sustainment of operational processes and standard work across the division.
  • Lead implementation of new initiatives by managing interdependencies, timelines, resources, and prioritization across a complex portfolio.
  • Design and operationalize initiatives within support segment frameworks to ensure scalable execution.
  • Develop and lead training strategy and AWI/Best Way execution to drive adoption and capability building.
  • Build control mechanisms to monitor compliance, performance, and sustainability of initiatives.
  • Evaluate operational performance, identify gaps, and implement continuous improvement solutions.
  • Provide dotted-line leadership to implementation partners (SCIL, Implementation Managers) to drive alignment and execution discipline.
  • Lead division governance mechanisms to track outcomes, manage risks, and ensure delivery of business objectives.
  • Align cross-functional stakeholders to ensure business strategies are effectively translated into executable plans.
  • Support talent strategy by developing teams, building capability, and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
