Implementation Manager, Technology & Vendor Integrations

The Implementation Manager, Technology & Vendor Integrations is responsible for leading the planning, execution, and operational deployment of strategic technology solutions and third-party vendor implementations across the Medicare Advantage health plan. This role ensures that technology platforms, vendor services, and operational capabilities are successfully integrated into the organization while meeting business objectives, regulatory requirements, timelines, and budget expectations. The Implementation Manager serves as the primary liaison among internal business teams, IT, operations, compliance, clinical leadership, and external vendor partners. This position oversees implementation activities from business case approval through post-implementation stabilization and benefits realization.

Implementation Leadership Lead
  • end-to-end implementation of strategic technology solutions, vendor services, and enterprise initiatives.
  • Develop and manage implementation plans, project timelines, milestones, dependencies, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of implementation activities.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.
  • Facilitate implementation governance meetings and provide status updates to executive leadership.
Vendor Integration Management
  • Manage onboarding and integration of new vendors supporting Medicare Advantage operations.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between the health plan and external vendor partners.
  • Coordinate contract implementation activities, operational readiness, testing, and deployment.
  • Oversee vendor performance during implementation and stabilization periods.
  • Escalate and resolve implementation issues, risks, and barriers impacting delivery.
Technology Deployment & Integration
  • Partner with IT and architecture teams to ensure technical integration requirements are defined and executed.
  • Oversee system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), defect remediation, and production readiness activities.
  • Ensure integration with upstream and downstream systems is validated and documented.
Operational Readiness
  • Develop operational readiness plans to support successful implementation and adoption.
  • Coordinate business process design, workflow development, training, and communication activities.
  • Ensure policies, procedures, and job aids are updated to support new capabilities.
  • Conduct readiness assessments and go-live reviews before deployment.
  • Support stabilization activities and transition solutions into ongoing operations.
Regulatory & Compliance Support
  • Ensure implementations support Medicare Advantage regulatory requirements and organizational compliance standards.
  • Collaborate with Compliance, Legal, Privacy, and Information Security teams throughout implementation lifecycles.
  • Verify appropriate controls, documentation, and operational processes are in place before launch.
  • Support audit readiness and implementation documentation requirements.
Stakeholder Management
  • Build strong relationships with business leaders and executive sponsors.
  • Facilitate cross-functional workshops and implementation planning sessions.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate project progress, risks, and decisions.
  • Drive alignment across business, operational, technical, and vendor teams.
Performance & Continuous Improvement
  • Track implementation performance metrics and post-launch outcomes.
  • Monitor benefit realization against business case assumptions.
  • Identify opportunities to improve implementation methodologies and governance processes.
  • Capture lessons learned and establish implementation best practices.
Job Requirements
  • Experience: Required: 5+ years of experience managing technology implementations, operational projects, or vendor integrations.
  • Education: Required: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, Project Management, or related field.
  • Specialized Skills: Required: Experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong project and program management skills.

Pay Range

$98,550.00 - $147,825.00 Pay range may be based on a number of factors including market location, education, responsibilities, experience, etc.
