About This Position

The Implementation Analyst will implement projects across the Vending product line. The success of the deployment is accomplished by managing the projects tasks throughout the entire project life cycle. The Implementation Analyst will be involved in extensive project team interaction and execution of deliverable tasks. The Analyst will lead the implantation of the vending hardware and assist in deploying the vending technology.

Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Execution

  1. Assist in Executing and deploying vending customer project work plans and transition plans.
  2. Prioritize and manage vending go-live projects within time, technical, and resource constraints.
  3. Configure and execute systems integration projects based on varying customer requirements from initiation through completion.
  4. Provide solutions, recommendations, and input to address project challenges and operational issues.
  5. Handle all project transitions to the Help Desk following implementation.

System Configuration & Deployment

  1. Perform hands-on configuration of vending software, technologies, services, and interfaces on Keefe Group hardware for customer deployment.
  2. Complete final configuration of vending machines in the corporate warehouse, including safety standard implementation, inbox installation, drawer configuration, and planogram setup.
  3. Assist in the work of onsite vendors responsible for hardware installation and deployment activities.

Training & Knowledge Transfer

  1. Develop and deliver training plans designed to educate employees and customers on Keefe Group proprietary software and technologies.
  2. Conduct remote and onsite training sessions for customers nationwide on the use of Keefe Group systems and products.
  3. Deliver training to Keefe Group operations staff when new technologies, enhancements, or upgrades are introduced.

Customer Support & Hypercare

  1. Provide Hypercare support for new and existing deployments, including ticket management, project escalations, and onsite support requirements.
  2. Travel to locations that need Advanced Vending Triage during project go live
  3. Serve as an escalation resource for support teams regarding customer deployments involving software and hardware technologies.
  4. Provide advanced troubleshooting, problem resolution, and system consultation to customers as needed.
  5. Provide accounting guidance within Keefe Group proprietary financial software and assist customers with reconciliation and balancing activities.

Vendor & Asset Management

  1. Manage vending machine vendors, including quality control of incoming inventory, RMA processing, and vendor accountability initiatives.

Documentation, Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

  1. Document all service, training, configuration, deployment, and upgrade activities.
  2. Collaborate with Senior Management and Engineering teams on product improvements, deployment strategies, and customer solutions.
  3. Perform other duties as assigned to support business needs.

  • Six to twelve months minimum experience as a Keefe Group IT Support Analyst; or an Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Pro-active self-starter who can work well with people at all levels both inside and outside of the Keefe Group Organization and the correctional facility in a professional manner.
  • Ability to work in a correctional environment.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills supporting a required ability to articulate clear ideas and strategies.
  • Excellent presentation skills and comfort in leading groups.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving/troubleshooting, and project management skills.
  • Knowledge of IBM DB2 database software and various versions of Windows Server Operating Systems preferred.
  • Computer literacy to include advanced capabilities in tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, Pivot Tables, and other web-based applications.
  • Ability to travel on business as required.
  • Valid driver’s license.
