Job description

Job Title: Project Manager โ€“ VAVE

Location: St. Paul, MN 55144-1000 | (Each location to be visited once in a month - Duration - at least 10 days - USA (CA, NE, ND, NC, OH) and Tijuana (Mexico). May add few more locations)

Onsite/ Hybrid/ Remote: Hybrid

Role Purpose:

Drive execution of supplier-driven VAVE programs, ensuring delivery of validated, implementable cost reduction initiatives with savings aligned with client objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end VAVE program execution across assigned suppliers.
  • Manage supplier engagement, readiness, and alignment.
  • Coordinate with Program Manager, client stakeholders, supplier stakeholders, consultants & SMEs.
  • Ensure data readiness (BOM, cost drivers, process details)
  • Plan and execute VAVE workshops at supplier facilities.
  • Drive tracking of idea funnel, savings, and implementation.
  • Manage risks, dependencies, and escalations.
  • Deliver program reports, dashboards, and executive summaries.
  • Support commercial validation and savings realization.
  • Ensure adherence to governance cadence and KPIs.

Required Skills:

  • Strong program/project management (multi-stakeholder environment)
  • Experience in manufacturing / should costing / VAVE programs.
  • Stakeholder management across client, supplier, should cost & VAVE team.
  • Strong data handling - BOM, costing, analytics
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills

Experience:

  • 10โ€“15 years in program management / manufacturing engineering
  • Experience of collaborating with global clients and suppliers.
  • Exposure to cost reduction / Transformation programs preferred.
