Job Summary:

The Implementation Specialist supports the successful delivery of implementation projects by working closely with Project Managers and cross-functional teams to configure, deploy, and optimize our enterprise software solutions.

This role focuses on the hands-on execution of implementation activities, including system configuration, data migration, testing, and customer training, while ensuring that client requirements are met accurately and efficiently.

Implementation Specialists lead end-to-end client onboarding, designing scalable solutions that align with client needs. With a strong foundation in software implementation, they excel at problem-solving, cross-functional collaboration, and driving client success.


Key Responsibilities:


Project Support & Collaboration

  • Work directly with Project Managers to execute implementation plans and deliverables.
  • Participate in project kickoff, requirement reviews, and progress meetings.
  • Maintain project documentation, track task progress, and communicate updates to the project team.
  • Coordinate with Product, Engineering, and Support teams to resolve issues and meet milestones.


System Configuration & Deployment

  • Configure software modules, workflows, user roles, permissions, and reporting dashboards.
  • Translate customer requirements into accurate system settings and test configurations prior to deployment.
  • Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure system readiness for go-live.


Data Migration & Integration Support

  • Perform or support data imports, transformations, and quality checks.
  • Support integration testing for API connections, single sign-on, or third-party systems.


Customer Enablement & Support

  • Assist Project Managers in delivering customer Functionality Demo sessions and onboarding materials.
  • Develop or update documentation such as configuration guides, user manuals, and training resources.
  • Provide post-Go-live hyper-care support and respond to configuration or user issues during transition.


Continuous Improvement

  • Contribute to process documentation, standard operating procedures, and reusable templates.
  • Identify opportunities to improve implementation efficiency and consistency.


What you have

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Management Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 0-2 years of experience in software implementation, technical consulting, or customer onboarding.
  • Working knowledge of SaaS application configuration and administration.
  • Experience using project management tools such as Jira, Asana, or Confluence.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong critical thinking skills
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and communicate with clients in a professional, service-oriented manner.

What sets you apart

  • Basic understanding of data management, SQL, and integrations (REST APIs and SAP RFC or BTP preferred).

  • Familiarity with agile development practices
