POSITION STATUS: NON-EXEMPT
PROJECT MANAGER JOB SUMMARY
This Project Manager will have the opportunity to work with business lines across a community health care organization that are excellent at delivering care and infrastructure, and have minimal experience with project management tools and frameworks. In your role, you will lead projects from requirements gathering and definition through execution and closure, while helping educate your partners on project management process and disciplines the PMO is implementing.
PROJECT MANAGER ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for flawless execution of multiple projects.
  • Facilitate creation and collection of project documentation (charter, RAIDD logs, project plan, meeting notes, deliverables, etc)
  • Develop project plan and status report based on templates, then use it to monitor and track progress.
  • Ensure all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant internal stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
  • Track project performance, specifically to analyze successful achievement of short and long-term goals.
  • Perform risk management to minimize potential risks.
  • Report and escalate issues and challenges to at scheduled project updates.
  • Manage relationship with all relevant stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with teams to develop and propose practical solutions, including process redesign, automation, or technology enhancements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements
PROJECT MANAGER EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's Degree from a 4-year college or university.
  • Minimum of 5 years of Project Management experience.
  • PMP certification is a plus.
  • Smartsheet experience is a plus
  • Healthcare experience is a plus.

PROJECT MANAGER KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with process automation and technology solutions is a plus.
  • Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be able to multi-task, prioritize, work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written).
  • Must be detail-oriented and accurate.
  • Must have strong work ethics and professional appearance and manner.
  • Proficiency with computer applications, such as Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Ability to find solutions when barriers are identified.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize when needed.
  • Ability to independently seek out resources and work collaboratively.
  • Experience and work ethics that support working within a high-functioning, team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills reflecting clarity and diplomacy and the ability to communicate accurately and effectively with all levels of staff and management.
  • Demonstrate flexibility, enthusiasm, and willingness to cooperate while working with others in multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
