This is not a short-term contract role, this is a full-time position with a growing organization committed to supporting surgical teams nationwide.

✈️ Travel & Location Requirements

This is a high-travel position supporting hospital implementations across the country. To ensure seamless deployment, candidates must live within 45–60 minutes of a major airport with strong national flight access.

You will serve as frontline supervisor during new site launches, playing a critical role in delivering operational excellence and supporting surgical teams from day one.

Role Summary: The Implementation Supervisor oversees Implementation Technicians and manages the on-site operational setup of new hospital accounts. This role ensures successful execution of project plans, alignment with hospital standards, and delivery of exceptional customer service during new site launches. The Implementation Supervisor acts as the on-site leader, coordinating readiness activities, mentoring technicians, and ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and performance standards.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Travel frequently across North America to support new and existing hospital accounts.
  • Lead on-site implementation efforts for new hospital accounts, ensuring smooth transitions and operational readiness.
  • Oversee and mentor Implementation Technicians to ensure consistent performance, adherence to policies, and professional conduct.
  • Execute project plans and timelines in coordination with Operations leadership to meet go-live milestones.

Hospital Support

  • Serve as the on-site liaison for hospital leadership, surgeons, and OR/SPD staff during setup and transition.
  • Monitor daily activities to ensure efficient workflows, adherence to hospital protocols, and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Support onboarding and field training of new Implementation Technicians.
  • Provide hands-on instruction in OR and SPD operations, ensuring team competency in instrument processing, equipment setup, and customer interaction.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with hospital administrators, OR directors, and clinical leadership.
  • Communicate project updates, identify challenges, and recommend solutions to ensure satisfaction and contract compliance.
  • Partner with Account Management and Operations to ensure smooth handoff of newly implemented sites.

Technology Utilization

  • Ensure daily use and accurate data entry in the Surgical Cost Management Platform (SCMP) and other digital tools.
  • Promote the use of technology to improve efficiency, consistency, and accuracy in all implementation activities.

Other Responsibilities

  • Perform all other duties as assigned by leadership to support implementation success and overall operational excellence.
  • Management and responsibility of company and hospital property as assigned.
    • Loss or damage of company property may result in repayment fees.

Skills & Abilities

  • Demonstrate reliability and consistent on-site attendance.
    • Must be able to work Sunday-Saturday, which includes 24/7 coverage on a rotational basis during weekdays, weekends, and holidays. This position typically entails a 40-hour workweek and additional hours may be required based on workflow or schedule to ensure customers receive the highest level of service.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop others.
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities in high-pressure situations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with clients, hospital staff, and team members.
  • Ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders and maintain professionalism under all circumstances.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfort with digital platforms and reporting systems.
  • Commitment to high standards of customer service, quality, and operational excellence.

Physical Demands

  • Ability to perform tasks involving bending, squatting, kneeling, crawling, and maneuvering heavy equipment.
  • Stand for prolonged periods and lift/carry items up to 50 pounds individually or more with assistance.

Qualifications

  • Education: Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred; some college required.
  • Certifications:
    • Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) required;
    • Certified Endoscope Reprocessor (CER) preferred.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 3–5 years of operating room or sterile processing experience.
    • Minimum 3 years of frontline leadership or supervisory experience.
    • Experience managing hospital setups, process improvements, or large-scale implementations preferred.
  • Additional Requirements:
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead in a fast-paced environment.
    • Ability to think critically, adapt quickly, and make decisions in high-pressure situations.
    • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
    • Available for possible rotational on-call coverage including weekends and holidays.
    • Demonstrated success in training and mentoring field staff.
    • Willing and able to travel 100% to support business needs.
