Marketing Merchandiser & Coordinator

Position Summary

The Marketing Merchandiser & Coordinator is responsible for creating and maintaining planograms, managing merchandising materials inventory, supporting store remodels and new store setups, maintaining website and product information, coordinating marketing programs and events, administering vendor participation and reimbursement programs, updating promotional content, and ensuring consistent branding across all marketing materials. This position also supports product and pricing teams through research and analysis while providing administrative coordination for marketing initiatives and helping deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities – Merchandising & Marketing

· Create, maintain, and update store planograms.

· Manage inventory of shelving and merchandising materials.

· Support new store openings, remodel projects, and seasonal merchandising updates.

· Create, update, and maintain merchandising standards and retail displays.

· Ensure promotional materials, signage, selling aids, and retail displays align with company branding standards.

· Maintain a visually appealing and marketable store environment.

· Conduct product and marketing research and present recommendations when appropriate.

· Assist with budgeting, planning, marketing initiatives, and reporting.

· Support customer feedback reporting, donation requests, and distribution of marketing materials.

Key Responsibilities – Digital Content & Data Management

· Maintain and update products, pricing, promotions, banners, headers, footers, and website content.

· Maintain product information within company systems and databases.

· Support product and pricing teams with product and price research.

· Manage participant records and related program data.

· Assist with data entry, reporting, documentation, and administrative recordkeeping.

Key Responsibilities – Coordination & Administration

· Administer vendor participation programs by invoicing vendors for marketing events and promotions, tracking reimbursement commitments, ensuring credits are received and reconciled, and maintaining supporting documentation.

· Maintain vendor participation records and prepare reports related to marketing program funding, reimbursements, and credits.

· Maintain marketing documentation and support department organization.

· Assist with special projects and marketing initiatives as assigned.

Team

· Fully support store groups in their marketing and merchandising efforts.

· Respond to and communicate effectively with store groups, customers, and other departments.

· Contribute to making ABC a Great Place to Work.

· Participate in marketing meetings as scheduled and provide updates on projects, priorities, and progress.

· Recognize team members for their contributions and demonstrate a willingness to help others.

· Follow company dress code and attend all company functions and meetings applicable to the position.

Qualifications

· Strong merchandising, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and SmartDraw.

· General math, research, and problem-solving skills.

· Self-motivated, creative, detail-oriented, and committed to continuous learning.
