About the Position:
As an Implementation Analyst, you will be the bridge between our technical teams and our oil amp; gas clients during the onboarding and deployment of our technology solutions. You’ll play a critical role in project execution, data integration, user training, and customer success. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of oil amp; gas production workflows, thrives in client-facing environments, and is comfortable working with technology platforms.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Geoscience, or related field AND
  • 2+ years of experience in a technical or analytical role in the oil amp; gas industry (Required)
  • Strong understanding of production operations, SCADA systems, and field data collection.
  • Proficient in Excel, SQL, and data visualization/reporting tools (JasperSoft, QuickSight, etc.)
  • Excellent communication and project coordination skills
  • Participate in the project planning activities and manage the execution of projects according to plan
  • Manage relationship with project stakeholders, including internal and external clients
  • Keeping stakeholders informed of progress and issues in order to manage expectations on all project requirements and deliverables.
  • Manage multiple software implementation projects
  • Develop strong working relationships with clients and ensure client is leveraging Vertrax platforms to optimize their business.
  • Working closely with product managers to prioritize and coordinate end client needs into software roadmap

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with clients to understand production operations and implementation needs.
  • Gather, validate, and map operational data (e.g., Field Data Capture, SCADA, production reports) for integration with company software platforms.
  • Coordinate internal and client-side resources to ensure timely deployment.
  • Assist in configuring and customizing software based on client requirements.
  • Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and validation of data and system performance.
  • Provide training to end-users and deliver clear documentation.
  • Support go-live activities and monitor early usage to ensure smooth adoption.
  • Identify opportunities to improve implementation processes and client experience.
  • Strong Customer Service Skills are essential.
  • Strong Project Management experience/IT Project Background helpful.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills; self-sufficient; comfortable in a fast-paced environment; organized and detail oriented.
  • Have strong PC skills and local area networking familiarity; should be comfortable with troubleshooting of software applications. Technology enthusiast;
  • Have a strong problem-solving temperament and ability to manage complex projects.
Optional experience but extremely desirable:
  • Experience with oil amp; gas production software (Scout, FieldDirect, Peloton, Quorum, P2)
  • Experience with data visualization/reporting tools (JasperSoft, Quicksight, Spotfire, etc.)
  • PMP or Agile certification is a plus
Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
