Job description

Who We Are
Maybern is transforming the way private fund managers effectively manage their funds through cutting edge technology: an operating system with deterministic guard rails underneath, agents on top. Maybern is founded by top engineering experts with deep knowledge of the fund management space.
Private funds manage $15T in capital and are growing at 20% YoY, but with increasing regulatory scrutiny and investor demands for transparency, the need for more modern, fully agentic solutions to help private fund CFOs is crucial.
This is where Maybern comes in.
We are equipping fund managers with a fully agentic operating system for private fund management, enabling private investment managers to focus on what they do best: driving returns for their investors. We are backed by leading venture capital firms and a large number of strategic investors.
Maybern is an NYC based company with a strong in-office culture to drive collaboration, and we are looking to make strong additions to our team.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for analytically-minded problem solvers who want to bridge technology and fund finance. As an Implementation Analyst at Maybern, you'll implement our software for private fund clients, translating their complex requirements into working solutions while building trusted relationships with fund managers.
What You'll Do
As part of Maybern's Implementation Team, you'll own the end-to-end implementation process for new clients, working closely with Client Success, Solutions, Product, and Engineering. Your work directly shapes how clients experience our product and influences what we build next.
  • Build: You will build relationships with our clients, plan onboarding and roll-out processes for new fund managers, and evaluate product enhancements.
  • Plan: Analyze key requirements for clients to help Product Managers prioritize the product roadmap.
  • Deliver: You will deliver on key milestones throughout the entire life of the project while managing the relationship with our clients. You will also help to train our clients on our complex fund software, and support them as they adopt our product.

Who You Are
  • Technically Curious: You're drawn to the intersection of software and business logic, and you like understanding how systems behave under different configurations or inputs.
  • Collaborative. You love to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment managing both internal and external stakeholders, excel at distilling and incorporating feedback, and are a clear and consistent communicator.
  • Detail-Oriented: There is no room for error when building software to manage such critical calculations for enterprise investment managers.
  • Systems Thinker: You approach problems with a technical and holistic mindset, considering broader implications and interconnectivity within workflows and processes.
  • Adaptable: You adjust quickly to changing priorities and conditions, effectively coping with complexity and change, and thrive as a self-starter who takes initiative without needing much direction.

This Could Be a Great Fit If You...
  • Have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, or related quantitative field
  • Have 1-3 years of experience in a technical client-facing role (e.g., technical onboarding, solution consulting, implementation)
  • Are proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Have strong project management skills
  • Have a heightened attention to detail that can be applied to the translation of a variety of private fund structures and calculations into a flexible software solution
  • Have strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and are comfortable interacting with clients
  • Are comfortable with and excited about using AI tools to enhance productivity and problem-solving in your daily work
Benefits
  • We offer a competitive salary + equity package, comprehensive benefits, and a flexible family-friendly work environment. Some of our perks include:
    • Comprehensive healthcare benefits
      • Maybern covers 100% of medical, dental, and vision premiums
      • HSA & FSA plans
    • Family-Friendly policies
      • Paid parental leave
    • Flexible schedule
      • Flexible PTO / sick leave
      • WFH as needed to fit your needs
    • 401k
