Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Advise clients on immigration options, including visas, green cards, asylum, removal defense, and naturalization processes.
  • Prepare and review legal documents such as petitions, applications, affidavits, and supporting evidence with strong attention to detail.
  • Represent clients in hearings before immigration courts and USCIS.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop case strategies while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate case files and documentation in accordance with office procedures.
  • Stay informed on updates in immigration law, policy changes, and regulatory developments affecting client matters.
Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and active bar admission in any U.S. state.
  • 1 year of experience in Immigration Law (Required)
  • Proven experience handling immigration law cases from start to finish.
  • Strong legal research and analytical skills.
  • Excellent writing and drafting abilities for legal documents, briefs, and correspondence.
  • Demonstrated negotiation and advocacy skills.
  • General knowledge of related practice areas such as family law, employment law, landlord-tenant law, personal injury, workers' compensation, estate planning, and litigation practices.
  • Familiarity with legal administrative processes and immigration case procedures.
  • Fluency in Spanish (required).
