  • Two days WFH authorized (or all in office if preferred)
  • Benefits (health insurance, dental, 401K)
  • Generous PTO
  • Casual work environment/company excursions/"work family"
  • AILA training and paralegal membership, if desired

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with EOIR/ECAS portal/eROP
  • Knowledge of NVC, CEAC, and K-1 consular process
  • Spanish or other second language speaker
  • H.S. Diploma + 5 years of direct experience, or Associate Degree/Bachelor's + 2 years of experience in the field
  • Experience with Cerenade platform
  • Experience with Lawmatics

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of two years of experience working at an immigration law firm as a paralegal
  • Strong understanding of legal terminology, processes, and procedures at USCIS and the Department of State
  • Experience completing forms and producing packs for USCIS filings/EOIR
  • Strong skills with G Suite, Word, and Adobe Pro
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a team or individually (the position is mostly independent work but requires cooperation with others in the office) and under deadline pressure
  • Empathy, patience, and desire to assist economically and culturally diverse clients in a courteous manner
  • Must value collegiality, be able to manage/organize volume, and deal with a wide variety of clients in a courteous manner

We work hard to maintain a work-life balance. Overtime is extremely rare for support staff. We cater lunches, offer excursions (if you're into that kind of thing), attend the NWIRP Gala as a team every year, and understand the demands of life outside this office. We hope to hear from you!
