Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized Legal & Regulatory Assistant for a direct hire opportunity in Kirkland, WA. This role supports a Legal and Regulatory team, including senior legal and regulatory leaders, while helping improve legal workflows, compliance tracking, contract routing, e-billing, project coordination, and knowledge management.
This is an excellent opportunity for a legal administrative or legal operations professional who enjoys structure, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration. The Legal & Regulatory Assistant will play an important role in helping the team deliver timely, accurate, and business-focused legal support in a professional environment with strong leadership, teamwork, and meaningful exposure to legal, regulatory, corporate compliance, and external affairs matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage legal and regulatory project plans, timelines, tracking tools, follow-ups, and coordination with internal teams and external parties.
- Support contract management activities, including document processing, electronic signature routing, contract tracking, execution follow-up, and escalation of outstanding items.
- Maintain regulatory and corporate compliance records, including entity records, annual filings, business license renewals, FCC and other license records, intellectual property database updates, and compliance calendars.
- Assist with litigation and external affairs support, including matter intake, legal holds, discovery coordination, document collection, subpoena processing, contact lists, meeting coordination, and organized file maintenance.
- Evaluate, implement, administer, and improve legal technology tools, vendor relationships, matter trackers, e-billing platforms, and project management systems.
- Conduct targeted factual research, draft clear correspondence and summaries, and support executive-ready materials for legal and regulatory leadership.
Compensation and Benefits
- Compensation: $32 to $38 per hour.
