Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings to determine clients' mental health status and substance abuse history.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that address both addiction and any co-occurring mental health issues.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices to promote recovery.
• Regularly collaborate with our multidisciplinary treatment team to discuss client progress and revise treatment strategies when necessary.
• Educate and engage clients' families in the recovery process, providing guidance for supportive interventions.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in accordance with regulatory and ethical guidelines to ensure confidentiality.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a licensed mental health counselor at Immediate Cure, your primary focus will be on individuals facing addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders. You will work with a diverse client base, including adults and adolescents from various socio-economic backgrounds. Your expertise will enable you to understand each client’s unique struggles, empowering them to rebuild their lives free from the grip of substance abuse.

Qualifications

• A valid license as LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Florida.
• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
• Specialized training or significant experience in addiction counseling.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices for treating substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions.
• Exceptional therapeutic skills, with a proven ability to inspire and motivate clients towards recovery.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills, essential for collaboration with colleagues and engagement with clients.

Preferred Experience

Ideally, candidates will have at least two years of experience in mental health counseling, with a specific focus on addiction treatment. Experience in a community health setting is a plus, as is familiarity with various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), which are crucial to our clinical approach.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
