What is an imaging services assistant?

Imaging Services Assistants are healthcare support professionals who help facilitate the smooth operation of medical imaging departments. They assist radiologists and technologists by preparing patients for imaging procedures, maintaining equipment, managing patient records, and ensuring that the imaging environment is clean and safe. Imaging Services Assistants often encounter challenges such as maintaining accuracy while managing a high volume of patient imaging records and ensuring timely preparation of imaging rooms.
