Summary

Job Description:

The Director of Diagnostic Imaging is responsible for the strategic, operational, clinical, and financial leadership of the hospital's Diagnostic Imaging Services, including Radiology, Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Nuclear Medicine, Mammography and Sonography/Ultrasound.

The Director provides leadership and oversight to ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality, efficient, and patient-centered imaging services that support the organization's mission, strategic goals, and regulatory requirements.

The Director collaborates with radiologists, physicians, nursing leaders, hospital administration, and interdisciplinary departments to optimize imaging operations, improve patient access and throughput, maintain regulatory compliance, and advance clinical excellence across all imaging modalities.

This position maintains accountability for departmental performance, staffing, budgeting, quality outcomes, patient experience, equipment management, and strategic growth initiatives across multiple imaging sites.

Requirements:

Master's degree in healthcare, business, or related field required.

Must have seven years of progressively responsible imaging services experience to include a minimum or five years of healthcare leadership experience.

Experience managing multiple imaging modalities in an acute care hospital setting and/or multiple sites preferred.

ARRT or ARDMS or equivalent nationally recognized credential appropriate to individual's primary modality.

Must be licensed to practice in the state of Indiana.

Leadership certification in radiology or healthcare preferred.
