What are Imaging Sales?

Imaging Sales refers to the business of selling imaging products and solutions, such as medical imaging equipment (like MRI, CT, and X-ray machines), cameras, printers, scanners, and related software or services. Professionals in Imaging Sales work with hospitals, clinics, businesses, or individuals to understand their imaging needs and provide suitable solutions. Their responsibilities often include product demonstrations, negotiations, and maintaining customer relationships. The role requires both technical knowledge of imaging products and strong sales skills.

Understanding the nuances helps professionals target the right clients and develop specialized knowledge for each role.

How much do radiology sales reps make?

Radiology sales representatives typically earn between $70,000 and $120,000 annually, with base salaries plus commissions based on sales performance. These skills are crucial for building trust with clients, effectively conveying technical value, and achieving sales targets in a competitive market.

What imaging job pays the most?

In imaging-related fields, radiologists and nuclear medicine physicians tend to have the highest salaries, often exceeding $300,000 annually. These roles require advanced medical training, board certification, and often involve working in hospitals or diagnostic centers. Other high-paying imaging jobs include MRI and CT technologists with specialized certifications, but their salaries are generally lower than physicians in the field.

  • Track all sales and business development activity in Salesforce and provide weekly reporting on pipeline progress and revenue forecasts
Independent Sales Ownership
  • Operate as a senior individual contributor responsible for personal performance
  • Work autonomously with strong self-direction and accountability
  • Contribute to team success through collaboration, shared insights, and market intelligence
Qualifications

  • Demonstrated success in new business acquisition and territory expansion (โ€œhunterโ€ background)
  • Demonstrated success in self-generating leads and building a sustainable sales pipeline, with accountability for prospecting, nurturing opportunities, and driving deals from initial outreach through close
