JOB SUMMARY:
The Operations & Administrative Specialist is responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support and coordination in a variety of operational and administrative functions within medical staff services. The primary responsibilities of this specialist is to support the communication and engagement strategies and requirements of the UVMHN Medical Staff, MS Leaders, MS Committees, and MSS department leaders, to provide support to the medical staff committees, policy maintenance, and other operational functions of medical staff services as needed.
EDUCATION:
  • Associate's degree in business or healthcare related field preferred.
  • CPMSM and/or CPCS certification desired.

EXPERIENCE:
  • Required
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an administrative or health care related field.
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite to include Outlook, Teams, Word and Excel
  • Preferred
  • Experience with developing informational communications, using various mediums such as emails, newsletters, websites, and presentations
  • Experience working with physicians and other providers
