Job description

We are looking for someone to join our Ice Rink Staff as an Ice Manager/Zamboni Driver for the Recreation Department of Woodbridge Township. Our Ice Managers/Zamboni Drivers will be friendly, hardworking, self-motivated, mechanically inclined, provide the highest level of customer service and have strong communication skills.

  • Duties as ice rink manager at our two ice rinks facilities
  • Provide a valid Driver’s License/Zamboni Driver.
  • Perform skate inspections and maintenance on a daily basis.
  • General ice maintenance/and shift cleaning on a daily basis.
  • Interact with all age levels of Hockey Play and open public sessions customers.
  • Supervisory experience preferably with ice staff.
  • Enforces rules of rink, maintains security of building during youth activities.
  • Ability to Ice Skate a plus but not necessary
  • Oversees skating area during public skating sessions
