Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and systems-driven Ice Cream Production Manager to lead and scale our production operations. This role prioritizes automation, efficiency, and process development while maintaining exceptional product quality. The ideal candidate thrives in building systems, managing workflows, and optimizing production in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.


Key Responsibilities

Oversee and optimize daily ice cream production, ensuring efficiency, consistency, and scalability

Develop, implement, and refine production systems and automation processes

Manage production schedules to fulfill orders for scoop shops and grocery accounts

Organize workflows and ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment

Maintain and enforce strict sanitation and food safety standards

Train, supervise, and support production staff with a focus on process consistency

Monitor inventory levels and coordinate purchasing needs

File and manage paperwork related to grants and operational opportunities

Collaborate with leadership to continuously improve production capabilities and infrastructure


Qualifications

Strong background in production, manufacturing, or kitchen operations management

Experience building or managing systems, workflows, and schedules

Solid understanding of sanitation practices and food safety regulations

Minimum of 2 years of pastry or culinary experience (preferred but secondary to production expertise)

Excellent organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills

Ability to manage multiple moving parts in a fast-paced environment

Spanish language skills are a plus
