Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Ice Cream Scooper to join our team! The Scooper is the face of our  Loved Ice Cream store and plays an integral role in our customer’s dining experience. You will build rapport with customers, answer questions about the menu and flavors, take orders, serve food and drinks, bake cookies and cakes, and keep the store and equipment clean and sanitized. The ideal candidate is friendly, outgoing, and has fantastic attention to detail. 
Important: Current opening is only for opening shifts starting at 12:00p.m., Monday-Friday with the possibility to expand to weekends or longer hours.  This is for our new location in the Financial District. 

Responsibilities: 
  • Take food and beverage orders from customers
  • Answer questions about the menu and preparation
  • Provide accurate orders to the kitchen staff
  • Check with customers to ensure they are satisfied
  • Bake Cookies, Cakes, make Waffles, cones, crepes
  • Scoop ice cream, make sundaes and milkshakes
  • Keep the store and equipment clean and sanitized
  • Follow food safety protocols at all times
Qualifications: 
  • Previous experience in food service is preferred
  • Food handler certification is a plus
  • Friendly and outgoing personality
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing for long periods and scooping ice cream
  • Familiarity with food safety guidelines
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
