Principal OR Senior Principal Payloads Field Service Engineer Level 3 | Jacksonville, Florida, United States Principal or Senior Principal Payloads Field Service Engineer Level 3 Location: Jacksonville, FL (Mayport) | Full-Time, Onsite | Active Secret Clearance Required About the Role Indotronix is seeking a results-driven Payloads Field Service Engineer to provide essential support for advanced airborne communications and sensor payload systems in a mission-critical environment. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring real-time operational readiness and technical excellence for our flight operations. If you thrive in dynamic, hands-on roles and are eager to advance your career with exposure to cutting-edge technology and secure government programs, this opportunity is for you. Responsibilities - Deliver real-time technical support for flight operations and maintenance on airborne communication and payload systems, including MFAS Radar, EO/IR, airborne recorders, and Link 16. - Troubleshoot, isolate faults, and resolve technical issues for sensor and communication payloads. - Coordinate with site leadership to complete and track Maintenance Action Forms (MAFs). - Develop, update, and follow technical procedures and checklists for operational consistency. - Communicate complex technical matters with local teams, Responsible Engineers, Main Operating Bases, and the Degrader Action Cell. - Assist aircrew with advanced troubleshooting techniques and operational analysis. - Contribute to trend analysis and operational reporting to support mission success. - Manage and support voice communications, networking systems, and interfaces at operating bases. - Build expertise across all supported sensor, communication, and payload systems. - Work onsite full-time, including rotating shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays as operational needs dictate. Required Skills and Experience - Bachelor's in STEM with 5+ years (Principal) or 8+ years (Senior Principal) of related experience, or equivalent advanced degrees with corresponding experience. - Experience with Linux systems and engineering troubleshooting tools. - Familiarity with payload operations, communications, and networking systems. - Active DoD Secret Clearance and eligibility for Top Secret/SCI. - Ability to obtain DoD 8140 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+, CCNA, CISSP). - Ability to secure SAP/PAR program access. - Willingness to complete 6+ months initial training in San Diego, with travel to Baltimore, MD, and Jacksonville, FL. - Ability to travel up to 10%. No remote work. Preferred Skills - Active DoD Top Secret Clearance. - Active DoD 8140 IAT Level II certification. - Experience with MQ-4C sensor and communication payloads. - Familiarity with network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal generators. - System Administrator experience. - Field operations and maintenance support experience. - Knowledge of MPO/TC operator systems.
