Inpatient Social Worker/Case Manager (MSW)

Start your new year off with a new career in Behavioral Health Social Services.  Peachford Hospital, a 246-bed, acute care psychiatric hospital located in Dunwoody, provides inpatient mental health and addictive disease treatment for children, adolescents, adults, and seniors. With over 50 years of service to our community, nearly 10,000 patients receive care here every year.

We are searching for full time day shift Master’s prepared Case Managers/Social Workers and the desire to provide compassionate care in an inter-discplinary environment.

What Role Will You Play?

Social Services Case Managers are part of an interdisciplinary treatment team charged with providing quality therapeutic and case management services to our patients from admissions to discharge. Case Managers are empowered to assess their patient’s needs using their own personal style, while delivering superior quality care. What Will You Get To Do?

Social Services Case Managers are responsible for:

  • Conducting psychosocial assessments to document patient history and identify preliminary issues for treatment focus.
  • Providing individual, group and family solutions-focused interventions.
  • Facilitating process and didactic groups.
  • Developing an individualized discharge plan utilizing information obtained from the patient, treatment team and family to determine patient needs.
  • Identifying family or community resources such as group homes, halfway houses or treatment providers.

A license eligible master’s degree in a related clinical area is required as well as the desire to help our patient’s improve their lives.  A positive attitude and outlook will make you successful in this role.
