About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the 436FSS/FSCN.

An applicant's eligibility will be determined based on eligibility claimed in the questionnaire and proof of eligibility MUST be provided with application by the closing date, 09/07/2026

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Qualifying Experience:
  • Applicant must have progressively responsible Human Resources experience in substantive NAF personnel management and administration and be thoroughly familiar with the full range of NAF personnel policies and procedures and perform at this pay band level.
  • Preferred knowledge in programs such as DCPDS, USA Staffing, Business Objects and NAF pay.
  • Must have knowledge of and skill in interpreting and applying regulations, policies, practices and procedures covering NAF personnel management and security programs.
  • Must have thorough computer skills, knowledge of the NAF DCPDS and applicable security system (E-Qip).
  • Must be proficient with personal computer applications such as Windows, MicroSoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access, Outlook and the Internet.
  • Ability to communicate with others effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Must possess skill in dealing with customers and the public.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
  • Typing skills are required.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET Security Clearance.
Education:Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution.
