About the Opportunity
LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a large healthcare organization supporting a substantial employee population across the United States. We are seeking an HR Operations Coordinator to join a high-performing HR Shared Services team.
This fully remote contract opportunity is ideal for an early-career HR professional interested in gaining experience in HR Operations, People Analytics, HRIS, and Workforce Reporting. The role supports both employees and leaders by assisting with Workday reporting, HR data requests, workforce analytics, HRIS support, and the resolution of complex HR inquiries.
The successful candidate will have experience utilizing Workday , strong analytical abilities, excellent communication skills, and the professionalism required to work with confidential employee information.
Key Responsibilities
HR Operations and Analytics
  • Generate, compile, and distribute recurring and ad hoc HR reports to support various HR Centers of Excellence and business functions.
  • Partner with internal HR teams to fulfill reporting requests, gather required information, and ensure timely delivery of workforce data.
  • Utilize Workday and related systems to retrieve employee information, maintain reporting accuracy, and support operational HR initiatives.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support reporting needs related to benefits, compensation, talent, learning, and employee services.
  • Assist with data validation, record audits, and reporting quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency across HR systems.
  • Track, organize, and prioritize multiple reporting requests while maintaining service level expectations.
  • Serve as a liaison between HR Shared Services and internal stakeholders by providing responsive, professional support for workforce reporting and operational requests.
  • Prepare and present reporting results in a clear, organized, and professional format for internal HR teams and leadership.
Workday & HRIS Support
  • Utilize Workday to research employee records, complete transactions, and support reporting requests.
  • Troubleshoot HRIS-related questions and partner with internal teams to resolve issues.
  • Support data integrity initiatives and ongoing system improvements.
  • Maintain accurate employee information and documentation.
HR Shared Services Support
  • Respond to employee and manager inquiries related to HR policies, processes, programs, and procedures.
  • Support escalated cases involving benefits, compensation, talent, learning, and employee records.
  • Collaborate across HR functions to ensure timely and accurate issue resolution.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
Process Improvement & Continuous Learning
  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes and operational efficiencies.
  • Support updates to knowledge articles, self-service resources, and team documentation.
  • Recommend enhancements that improve both employee experience and service delivery.
Team Collaboration & Support
  • Serve as a resource to colleagues by sharing knowledge and best practices.
  • Assist with onboarding and training new team members when needed.
  • Foster a collaborative and solutions-oriented team environment.
Qualifications
Required Education
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, Analytics, or a related field is preferred.
Required Experience
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in reporting, analytics, workforce reporting, HR support, HRIS, data analysis, or a related function.
  • Experience supporting internal customers in a service-oriented environment.
  • Experience working with large employee populations is a plus.
Required Skills
  • Workday experience is strongly preferred
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately compile, validate, and distribute HR reports and workforce data.
  • Ability to manage multiple reporting requests, prioritize workloads, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced Shared Services environment.
  • Comfortable working across multiple HR teams and business partners to gather information and support operational reporting needs.
