Job Summary
The Generalist, Human Resources runs the daily execution of HR operations across Colorado, Kentucky, and the Corporate center.
This position is onsite in Boulder, CO, is the face of HR to CO employees, and maintains a presence on the floors of cultivation and production locations.Duties/Responsibilities
HR Leadership & Department Oversight
  • Executes daily HR operations across Colorado, Kentucky, and Corporate per the Director's direction
  • Flags workload and resource needs to the Director
Talent Acquisition & Employee Lifecycle
  • Sources, screens, and interviews candidates for roles across Colorado, Kentucky, and Corporate
  • Coordinates offers, new-hire orientation, onboarding paperwork, background checks, and IT/asset provisioning
  • Tracks 30-60-90 day integration milestones and monitors early-stage success for new hires
  • Processes day-to-day offboarding: separation paperwork, asset recovery, and access revocation
  • Conducts exit interviews and reports turnover trends to the Director
Payroll & HRIS Administration
  • Processes bi-weekly and semi-monthly payroll for Colorado and Kentucky
  • Audits and reconciles timesheets, overtime, and leave balances in the HRIS for Colorado and Kentucky
  • Administers day-to-day payroll deductions (benefits, 401(k), garnishments) for Colorado and Kentucky
  • Serves as the day-to-day HRIS administrator for Colorado and Kentucky
Compensation & Benefits
  • Advises hiring managers on offer ranges within Director-approved bands
  • Processes approved compensation changes in the HRIS
  • Runs open enrollment logistics across Colorado, Kentucky, and Corporate
  • Explains benefits to new hires, resolves day-to-day claims issues with carriers, and updates life-event changes and elections in the HRIS
Employee Relations & Leave Administration
  • Serves as the first point of contact for day-to-day employee concerns and documents routine matters
  • Escalates complex employee relations issues to the Director
  • Manages routine leave intake, tracking, and documentation across all entities
Compliance & Safety
  • Executes day-to-day I-9 completion and policy enforcement in Colorado
  • Flags compliance issues and documentation gaps to the Director
  • Runs floor-level safety activity in Colorado, including toolbox talks, drills, and safety committee participation
  • Reports incidents and near-misses to the Director
Talent Development & Performance
  • Delivers new-hire orientation and on-the-job coaching
  • Coordinates training logistics across Colorado, Kentucky, and Corporate
  • Supports managers in executing performance review cycles and tracks completion
