Human Resources Generalist & Administrative Coordinator

CCSI is seeking a highly organized and dependable Human Resources Generalist & Administrative Coordinator to support our human resources and administrative operations. This position will be responsible for coordinating key employee processes, maintaining HR-related schedules and documentation, assisting with payroll review, and serving as a resource for employees and management.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable handling confidential information, and able to manage multiple responsibilities and deadlines in a professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate onboarding for new employees, including required paperwork, documentation, and employee setup.
- Coordinate employee terminations and ensure necessary separation documentation is completed.
- Schedule required employee, management, and organizational meetings.
- Review payroll prior to processing for accuracy, including new hires, terminations, pay changes, deductions, and other employee changes.
- Maintain and monitor the schedule for employee evaluations and performance reviews and follow up with supervisors to ensure timely completion.
- Process and track approved employee wage and salary increases.
- Receive, document, and appropriately communicate employee complaints and workplace concerns to management.
- Administer and track FMLA and other employee leave, including sending required paperwork, monitoring deadlines, and maintaining appropriate documentation.
- Track employees on personal or unpaid leave and ensure required employee insurance contributions are communicated and collected to maintain benefit coverage.
- Coordinate workers' compensation matters, including First Reports of Injury, required documentation, email correspondence, and follow-up with employees, management, insurance carriers, and other appropriate parties.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee and HR records.
- Provide general secretarial and administrative support to management as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in human resources, payroll, office administration, or a related position preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and responsibilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionally handle sensitive employee information.
- Comfortable communicating with employees, supervisors, and senior management.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn payroll and HR software systems.
- Experience with FMLA, employee leave, workers' compensation, payroll, or employee benefits is preferred.
