Overview

Must be within 30 miles of Castle Park 

HR Generalist - Castle Park 

The HR Generalist supports the day-to-day administration of HR programs and processes at Castle Park, including staffing, employee relations, benefits, training, and compliance. This role works closely with the HR Business Partner to execute HR initiatives and serves as a first point of contact for employee questions. 

What You'll Do 

  • Respond to employee questions regarding policies, benefits, and procedures 
  • Assist with performance management processes, including tracking evaluations and documentation 
  • Help administer leave programs (FMLA/CFRA, ADA) in coordination with the HR Business Partner and third-party vendors 
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data 
  • Assist with investigations and employee relations documentation as needed 
  • Support training logistics, including scheduling, materials, and tracking completion 
  • Help ensure compliance with California and federal employment laws (wage/hour, meal and rest breaks, harassment prevention, etc.) 
  • Assist with exit interviews and offboarding processes 
  • Assist with payroll and benefits questions 
  • Maintain scheduling report to include time punch audits 

What You'll Bring  

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience 
  • 2+ years of HR experience preferred 
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail 
  • Good written and verbal communication skills 
  • Working knowledge of California employment law a plus 
  • Ability to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays as needed (seasonal park environment) 
  • Comfortable working in an office and on-site park environment

The pay range for this position is $40-$50 per hour
