THE ROLE
The HR Manager serves as a trusted advisor to Corporate leadership, providing strategic guidance while ensuring operational excellence in HR processes and employee experience. Reporting to the Director of Corporate HR, this role serves as a strategic advisor to Corporate leadership, driving business-aligned people strategy across assigned client groups. This role advises workforce strategy, organizational effectiveness initiatives, leadership coaching, and talent planning while ensuring compliance and operational integrity. The role requires strong business acumen, executive presence, risk assessment capability, and the ability to influence at senior levels.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
  • Serve as HR advisor to senior leaders of assigned client groups; translate business strategy into actionable people strategies.
  • Coach senior leaders on performance management, difficult conversations, leadership effectiveness, and team dynamics.
  • Lead talent processes within client groups (performance cycles, talent reviews, succession planning).
  • Lead complex and high-risk employee relations investigations and resolution strategies with sound judgment and consistent policy interpretation.
  • Lead engagement strategy, interpret engagement data, and implement targeted action plans.
  • Drive leadership capability development in partnership with Learning & Development.
  • Partner with Centers of Excellence (Recruiting, Compensation, L&D, and HR Operations) to align enterprise programs with business needs.
  • Conduct exit interviews, analyze feedback trends, and recommend actions to improve employee experience and reduce attrition.
  • Analyze HR metrics and trends, generate actionable insights, and report recommendations to HR leadership to inform workforce decisions.
  • Stay abreast of employment law changes, emerging HR best practices, and modern people strategies; ensure consistent compliance and alignment in decision-making.
  • Oversee, approve, and audit Workday transactions (hires, changes, terminations, promotions, transfers, leaves) to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Maintain documentation standards and ensure consistency in policy application.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Respond to employee inquiries and provide high-quality guidance on HR policies, programs, and procedures.

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
  • 7-10+ years of progressive HR experience, including strategic HR business partnership and direct people management experience.
  • Demonstrated experience leading and developing HR team members, including coaching, performance management, and capability building.
  • Proven ability to lead through others, delegating operational work while maintaining accountability for strategic outcomes.
  • Demonstrated experience advising senior leaders and influencing business outcomes.
  • Proven track record leading workforce planning and organizational design initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and risk mitigation practices.
  • Experience leading complex employee relations investigations, including oversight of cases managed by others.
  • Strong analytical and financial acumen; ability to interpret HR metrics in business context.
  • Experience in fast-paced, matrixed, or global environments preferred.
  • Workday or equivalent HRIS expertise required.
  • Ability to work in the office up to two days per week.

The expected compensation for this position is:
