Indianapolis, IN
Full-Time | On-Site | Contract Through Year-End with Potential Extension
Are you an Excel power user with experience in HRIS, compensation, benefits, payroll, or workforce analytics? We are seeking a detail-oriented HR Data Analyst / Compensation & Benefits Analyst to support critical human resources initiatives through data analysis, reporting, auditing, and HR technology projects.
This position is ideal for professionals with strong analytical skills who enjoy working with large datasets, maintaining data integrity, and supporting compensation, benefits, payroll, and HR operations teams. If you have experience with Workday, ADP, HRIS systems, compensation analysis, benefits administration, or HR reporting, we would love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct compensation and benefits audits to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
  • Prepare and maintain data files for compensation planning and workforce analysis.
  • Analyze, validate, and manipulate large datasets using Microsoft Excel and HR systems.
  • Generate reports and dashboards from HRIS and payroll platforms.
  • Perform data cleanup, quality assurance, and ongoing data governance activities.
  • Support HR technology system testing, implementations, upgrades, and process improvements.
  • Monitor and maintain employee data integrity across multiple systems.
  • Assist with compensation analysis, benefits reporting, and workforce planning initiatives.
  • Research and resolve data discrepancies while recommending process improvements.
  • Handle confidential employee and compensation information with discretion and professionalism.
Qualifications
