Location: Miami, FL Employment Type: Full‑Time | Onsite Industry: Elevator Service, Repair, Modernization & Installation

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail‑oriented Human Resources Assistant to support daily HR operations for a growing elevator service company in the Miami market. This role will assist with recruiting, onboarding, compliance, employee relations, training coordination, and general HR administration. The ideal candidate is proactive, professional, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced, field‑service environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support HR Manager with day‑to‑day administrative tasks and employee inquiries.

  • Assist with recruiting, including job postings, resume screening, interview scheduling, and candidate communication.

  • Coordinate new‑hire onboarding, background checks, I‑9 verification, and orientation paperwork.

  • Maintain accurate employee records, certifications, licenses, and training documentation.

  • Track elevator mechanic licenses, renewals, safety training, and compliance requirements.

  • Support payroll preparation by collecting timesheets, verifying hours, and updating employee data.
