About SoFLo Premier Logistics

SoFLo Premier Logistics LLC is an independent Amazon Delivery Service Partner operating two South Florida delivery stations with approximately 200 employees. We hold Pinnacle status the highest performance tier in the Delivery Service Partner program and we earned it by building an operation where people are supported, developed, and treated fairly.

SoFLo Premier Logistics LLC is the hiring employer for this position and is solely responsible for all employment decisions.


The Role

This is a hands-on HR role that lives inside the delivery station, not behind a corporate desk. You will be the dedicated HR presence at our West Palm Beach station the first point of contact for our Delivery Associates and the day-to-day HR partner to the station's Operations Managers.

You will own the full front end of the employee lifecycle sourcing, interviewing, qualification, onboarding, and handbook training and stay engaged after day one through employee support, performance tracking, incident reporting, and benefits enrollment. This position reports directly to the CEO, so you'll have real visibility and a direct line to decisions.

What You'll Own


Hiring and Interviewing

  • Manage requisitions, job postings, and the applicant pipeline in our applicant tracking system
  • Screen applications, conduct phone and in-person interviews, and coordinate hiring manager interviews
  • Maintain candidate communication and move applicants through the process without delay
  • Track time-to-fill, source effectiveness, and pipeline health; report on hiring metrics
  • Coordinate hiring events, referral programs, and community recruiting efforts


New Hire Qualification and Onboarding

  • Coordinate all pre-employment qualification steps end to end and keep candidates moving
  • Own the onboarding calendar, first-day readiness, and new hire orientation logistics
  • Deliver Employee Handbook training and confirm receipt of all required acknowledgments
  • Build and maintain complete, audit-ready personnel and driver qualification files
  • Ensure every new hire is fully credentialed and system-ready before their first shift


Employment Authorization and Compliance

  • Complete and verify Form I-9 for every new hire within federal deadlines
  • Process E-Verify cases and manage any case results through resolution
  • Maintain I-9 storage, reverification tracking, and purge schedules
  • Support recordkeeping and readiness for internal and third-party compliance audits
  • Maintain confidentiality of all employee information without exception


Employee Support and Engagement

  • Serve as a visible, approachable resource for SoFLo Premier Logistics employees
  • Respond to employee questions on policy, pay, scheduling, benefits, and leave through approved channels
  • Intake employee concerns, document accurately, and escalate appropriately
  • Monitor employee sentiment and engagement; surface trends before they become turnover
  • Support recognition, retention, and engagement initiatives


Manager Support and Performance Management

  • Partner with the station's Operations Managers on attendance, performance, and policy application
  • Maintain accurate performance management tracking and documentation
  • Prepare and coordinate corrective action documentation for manager delivery
  • Coach managers on consistent, policy-aligned practice and flag risk early
  • Support investigations and documentation at the direction of the CEO


Safety, Incident, and Workers' Compensation Coordination

  • Facilitate timely reporting of incidents, accidents, and workplace injuries
  • Facilitate incident investigation procedures
  • Complete first-report-of-injury documentation and coordinate with the insurance carrier
  • Coordinate post-injury medical appointments, work-status updates, and return-to-work logistics
  • Maintain injury logs and required recordkeeping
  • Partner with operations leadership on safety communication and follow-through


Benefits Administration Support

  • Manage new hire benefits eligibility tracking and enrollment windows
  • Educate employees on plan options and walk them through enrollment
  • Support open enrollment, qualifying life events, and leave administration
  • Maintain accurate benefits and payroll data in our HRIS


What You Bring

  • 2+ years in human resources, recruiting, or HR administration
  • Working knowledge of Form I-9 and E-Verify requirements
  • Familiarity with federal and Florida employment law fundamentals (wage and hour, leave, EEO)
  • Strong written and verbal communication; you can explain policy clearly and calmly
  • High attention to detail and genuine ownership of deadlines and documentation
  • Proven discretion with confidential and sensitive information
  • Proficiency with HRIS, applicant tracking systems, and Microsoft Office
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced operations environment with competing priorities


What Sets You Apart

  • Bilingual English/Spanish a significant advantage given the workforce you'll support
  • Experience in logistics, transportation, warehousing, or another high-volume hourly environment
  • Experience with Paycom or a comparable HRIS
  • Prior workers' compensation or leave administration experience
  • HR certification (aPHR, PHR, or SHRM-CP)


Schedule and Work Environment

  • Full-time, on-site at our West Palm Beach delivery station
  • Early start times aligned to station dispatch operations; occasional weekend coverage required
  • Delivery station environment you'll split time between the fleet parking lot and the operations floor inside the delivery station
  • Occasional travel to our Port St. Lucie station for training, coverage, or company meetings
