Position Overview: The HR Generalist is instrumental in our operations, overseeing document management, recruiting, onboarding, and promotions. This role is essential for maintaining HR integrity, fostering employee growth, and creating a high-performance workplace
Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruiting, Onboarding, and Promotions: Streamline the recruitment process, from posting job ads to setting up/conducting interviews and managing the onboarding of new hires.
  • Performance and Talent Management: Manage the performance review process and work with managers to identify and cultivate talent within the organization. Support development of strategies for performance reviews, employee development, and talent retention.
  • HR Communications: Act as a key communicator for HR-related information, policies, and updates, ensuring clarity and accessibility for all employees.
  • Compliance and Reporting: Ensure all payroll and HR practices comply with federal, state, and local regulations, working closely with our third party HR team. Prepare reports on payroll, HR metrics, and ensure the accuracy and confidentiality of employee data.
  • Unemployment & Workers' Compensation: Work with our Accounting team to facilitate responding to unemployment claims and managing workers' compensation claims in order to keep tax rates and premiums as low as possible.
  • Employee Records: Maintain up-to-date and accurate employee records within our HR systems, ensuring compliance with legal and company requirements. You'll manage the onboarding and offboarding processes, keeping track of employment changes and documentation.
  • Benefits Enrollment Coordinator: Communicates all aspects of employee benefits offerings including health insurance, 401K, etc and assists in the enrollment process.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related ?eld (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience as an HR Generalist, preferably in the Quick Food Service or Restaurant industry.
  • Strong understanding of labor laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and con?dential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Has strong computer skills, pro?ciency in Microsoft Of?ce Suite, and related HR tools and software systems
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned region to provide on-site HR support.
