Etowah Landing Care & Rehabilitation Center is located in picturesque Rome, Georgia. Our mission is providing a home setting while maintaining the highest quality care and treatment to all of our residents. We offer short-term, long-term, and ventilator skilled care in our 100 - bed facility.

Position Overview:

As the Human Resources Director, you will lead the human resources department and play a critical role in supporting the facility's mission by fostering a positive workplace culture and ensuring the well-being of our employees. You will oversee all aspects of HR management, including recruitment, employee relations, training and development, compliance, and benefits administration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full cycle of recruitment and staffing, from job posting and candidate selection to onboarding and orientation.
  • Oversee employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures.
  • Collaborate with department managers to identify staffing needs and develop effective workforce planning strategies.
  • Administer employee benefits programs and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain HR records and ensure accuracy and confidentiality of employee information.
  • Stay updated on labor laws and regulations and ensure compliance in all HR practices.
  • Foster a positive work environment through effective communication, recognition programs, and employee engagement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an HR manager or director in a healthcare or long-term care setting preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and regulatory requirements.
