We're hiring an HRIS Lead to join the County Materials Family of Companies in Oconomowoc, WI.
Job Summary:
The HRIS Lead handles day-to-day responsibilities in HRIS department, ensuring that routine tasks and responsibilities are completed. This role also maintains system functionality, supports users, and guarantees data accuracy. In addition to their regular duties, the HRIS Lead may also be a part of various projects, including system upgrades, process improvements, or other strategic initiatives that require strong skills and coordination. By balancing daily operations with project-based work, the HRIS Lead plays a crucial role in both maintaining and enhancing our HRIS functions. Additionally, they serve as a vital resource for the HRIS Admin and the entire team on process clarifications and questions.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Training HR Team, managers and employees on HRIS related systems and processes as needed.
  • Maintain and create reports within the HRIS system, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Prepare ad hoc reports as requested to support departmental needs.
  • Conduct comprehensive audits across various HR processes to ensure data integrity and compliance.
  • Actively contribute to and support the improvement of HR systems and business processes.
  • Administer and maintain HRIS platforms, focusing on setup, updates, troubleshooting, and system optimization.
  • Manage user accounts and security settings, ensuring proper access and functionality.
  • Oversee and process benefit-related invoicing efficiently and accurately.
  • Assist in the implementation of new features and functionalities to enhance system performance and usability.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of payroll processes and procedures to provide operational support as needed.
  • Serve as a backup resource for payroll processing activities, assisting with payroll preparation, review, and validation during absences or peak workload periods.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Experience & Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, IT, or Data Analytics is preferred.
  • Experience: 4+ years' experience in HRIS administration, HR systems management, or a related field.
  • DayForce HCM Cloud experience is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to meet strict deadlines while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency in the MS Office Suite, including intermediate to advanced Excel skills, and prior experience with report writing.
