Job Description Position Summary Our client is seeking an experienced and proactive HR Generalist to support day-to-day HR operations and help drive employee engagement, compliance, and workforce effectiveness. This role serves as a key resource for employees and leaders while supporting HR programs, policies, systems, and initiatives across the organization. The HR Generalist will partner closely with HR leadership and business leaders to administer employee relations, benefits, compliance, onboarding, HRIS management, and workforce programs in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities Employee Relations & HR Support Serve as a trusted HR resource for employees and managers. Support employee relations matters, workplace concerns, and policy interpretation. Assist with employee engagement initiatives and workforce development programs.

Help foster a positive, productive, and compliant workplace culture. Respond to employee inquiries regarding policies, benefits, and HR programs. HR Operations & Compliance Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data.

Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws (OSHA, EEOC, FMLA, ADA, etc.). Assist with audits, reporting requirements, and compliance documentation. Prepare HR records, policy acknowledgments, and employment documentation

Ensure confidentiality and accuracy in all HR processes. Benefits & Employee Programs Support benefits administration and employee enrollment processes. Assist employees with benefits-related questions and requests.

Coordinate employee recognition programs and workplace events. Support onboarding and orientation activities for new hires. Assist with training coordination and employee development initiatives.

HR Projects & Reporting Support HR system implementations and process improvement initiatives. Prepare workforce reports, dashboards, and HR metrics. Analyze HR data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

Partner with HR leadership on programs that enhance employee experience and operational efficiency. Assist with special HR initiatives and organizational development efforts. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

3+ years of Human Resources experience. Experience supporting employee relations, compliance, HRIS administration, and employee programs. Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.

Experience with HRIS systems, reporting tools, and workforce analytics. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally. Employee-focused mindset with strong customer service skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications HR experience within manufacturing, industrial, or engineering environments. Knowledge of OSHA compliance and safety-focused operations. Experience supporting HR audits, compliance initiatives, and workforce reporting.

SHRM-CP, PHR, or related HR certification preferred. Experience with HR process improvement and HR system implementations. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
