Job description

We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and excellence-driven HR Coordinator to join our People Operations team.

This role provides administrative and operational support throughout the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, HRIS administration, employee records, time and attendance, payroll support, benefits, leave administration, employee engagement, and general office operations.

Key Responsibilities

The HR Coordinator will:

  • Coordinate new-hire onboarding, including paperwork, orientation logistics, system setup, and required documentation.
  • Respond to routine employee questions about People Operations policies, procedures, and programs, escalating more complex matters as appropriate.
  • Help employees navigate established benefits, leave, and workplace accommodation processes.
  • Support employee recognition, appreciation, life-event care, company meetings, and engagement activities.
  • Enter and maintain accurate employee information, documentation, and records in the HRIS.
  • Support HRIS and People Operations technology projects, workflow updates, and process improvements.
  • Maintain organized and confidential employee files in accordance with established recordkeeping practices.
  • Compile information, conduct research, and assist with People Operations projects and reporting.
  • Review electronic timesheets, identify discrepancies, and work with supervisors to obtain corrections before payroll processing.
  • Support FMLA, ADA accommodation, and other leave processes by providing established information, tracking documentation, and maintaining accurate leave and time-off records.
  • Assist with other recruitment and pre-employment coordination as needed.
  • Assist with general office operations and facilities coordination to help maintain a smooth, organized, and professional workplace.
  • Support special projects and other People Operations responsibilities as assigned.

  • Two or more years of Human Resources, People Operations, or closely related administrative experience preferred
  • Previous experience working with an HRIS, applicant tracking system, payroll system, or similar business technology
  • Working proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism when handling sensitive information
