Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and people-focused Onboarding Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for guiding new hires through the onboarding process, ensuring a smooth, welcoming, and compliant start to their employment. You will play a key role in creating a positive first impression and setting employees up for success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and conduct new hire onboarding and orientation sessions

  • Ensure all required employment documents are completed accurately and in a timely manner

  • Verify credentials, certifications, and compliance requirements (e.g., licenses, TB tests, background checks)

  • Maintain employee records and onboarding documentation

  • Communicate with new hires regarding start dates, schedules, and expectations

  • Collaborate with HR, scheduling, and management teams to ensure readiness for new employees

  • Provide ongoing support and answer questions for new hires during their transition period

  • Track onboarding progress and report on completion metrics

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Previous experience in HR, onboarding, recruiting, or administrative support preferred

  • Strong organizational and time management skills
