Position Summary

The Turnover Specialist is responsible for preparing Blue Ridge Escapes short-term rental properties between guest stays. This role ensures each home is spotless, fully stocked, and guest-ready.

Key responsibilities include full property cleaning, laundry services, restocking essentials, trash removal, and occasional guest deliveries. Turnover Specialists also play an important role in quality assurance by reporting maintenance concerns, documenting damages, and ensuring every property meets Blue Ridge Escapes’ presentation standards.

Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize all rooms between guest stays, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas.

  • Strip, wash, dry, fold, and replace linens and towels to company standards.

  • Restock essential supplies such as toiletries, paper goods, coffee, and cleaning products.

  • Remove trash and recyclables and ensure proper disposal at each property.

  • Deliver replacement items or amenities to guests and properties as needed.

  • Conduct final walkthroughs to confirm each home meets Blue Ridge Escapes presentation and cleanliness standards.

  • Report any damages, missing items, or maintenance issues promptly.

  • Assist supervisors with quality checks and inspections when requested.

  • Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, communicating when restocks are needed.

  • Adhere to assigned daily and weekly cleaning schedules with reliability and attention to detail.

Qualifications
  • Prior cleaning or housekeeping experience (residential , hotel , or rental properties ) 

  • Strong attention to detail and high cleaning standards 

  • Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license 

  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods 

  • Consistent reliability and punctuality 

  • Availability to work weekends and flexible hours based on guest turnover timing 

  • Smartphone with internet access for checklists and communication

Compensation & Benefits

Pay: $16 - $19 hourly - This is a W-2 employee position with a consistent weekly schedule and room for advancement .

Benefits: 

  • Paid time off such as PTO, sick days, and vacation days

  • Health Care Reimbursement Allowance

  • Car Allowance if using a personal vehicle.

Schedule: Full-time; 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM with a one-hour lunch break. Weekend work required . Flexible scheduling up to 40 hours will occur based on guest check -out and check -in times to ensure timely turnovers .
