Job description

Overview

The Shift Manger plays an important role in training, developing and leading the crew. Serves as a critical part of the leadership team, helping the restaurant serve the most flavorful chicken and coordinates a smooth end to end operation to provide an exceptional Customer Experience.

Responsibilities
    • Plan his/her duties and responsibilities for each shift
    • Verifies compliance of procedures and protocols
    • Attends and resolves problems as they appear in the restaurant operation
    • Assist the General Manager
    • Coach and lead a team with no supervision
    • Involves himself in the operational and technical training of employees
    • Maintain a positive atmosphere of teamwork and full of energy
    • Verifies customer satisfaction/Handles customer complaints
    • Applies a continuous improvement mindset to processes and procedures
    • Open/close restaurant
    • Assist with inventory (logging)
    • Assist with staffing needs
    • Assist with controllables and labor
    • Maintains overall sanitation, health, cleanliness, and safety standards for food preparation areas, cooking services, and dishes and utensils.
    • Follows and abides by all safety rules, policies, and procedures
Qualifications
    • High School Diploma or equivalent required
    • 1+ year of experience in similar roles or with customer experience
    • Demonstrates strong leadership potential by actively supporting team dynamics.
    • Committed to guest satisfaction, upholding a guest-first mindset in all interactions.
    • Preferred: Food Handlers Card/ ServSafe Certification
    • Fluent in English & Spanish*
    • Ability to work with computers
    • Must follow the company Personal Care and Hygiene policies Ability to lift and push 50 lbs.
    • Ability to stand for long periods
    • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
