Job Details:
Starting Pay Range: $23.05 - 25.90/hr
Position Summary: The Maintenance Generalist MG05 is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing equipment and company assets while ensuring a safe work environment and adherence to Tyson policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble and disassemble equipment.
Housekeeping Responsibilities.
Operate and maintain mobile equipment} pneumatic, and circuit components.
Perform welding on ferrous materials using oxy-fuel welding equipment, oxygen cutting, and plasma cutting.
Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
Conduct preventive maintenance on all equipment.
Perform physical tasks including climbing, standing, bending, sitting, and carrying/pushing/pulling up to 70 lbs multiple times weekly.
Work in varying environmental conditions (hot and cold).
Work overtime and weekends as required.
Follow instructions and communicate effectively.
Work at heights safely.
External Requirements:
Minimum of six months of work experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance or equivalent training. Agricultural milling maintenance experience is preferred.
Valid driver's license.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) certification.
