Job description

Are you an experienced healthcare revenue cycle professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment? We're partnering with our client seeking two Cash Posting Specialists to support high-volume payment posting and revenue cycle operations. One opening focuses on traditional payment posting, while the other provides administrative support to the Payment Posting team. Both roles are ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and committed to accuracy while supporting critical financial operations.


What You'll Be Doing…
  • Post insurance, facility, patient, EFT, check, and credit card payments, along with denials, recoupments, write-offs, and adjustments (payment posting role)
  • Process incoming mail, scan EOBs and correspondence, and prepare claims, appeals, invoices, and supporting documentation
  • Research and resolve unapplied cash, payment discrepancies, posting errors, and reconciliation issues
  • Support finance and compliance audits by gathering medical records, EOBs, and other required documentation
  • Perform payment reconciliations, including deposits, CollectPlus/IVR payments, and ZeroPay EOB posting
  • Respond to payment posting inquiries while maintaining accurate documentation and meeting productivity standards
  • Uphold HIPAA compliance and support month-end activities while collaborating with billing, collections, finance, and revenue cycle teams

  • Experience in healthcare revenue cycle, payment posting, medical billing, or medical collections
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately process high-volume financial transactions
  • Experience working with EOBs, payment reconciliation, denials, adjustments, or cash application preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, and general computer applications
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
