The HR Operations Assistant provides comprehensive administrative and operational support across HR functions, with a focus on DGA-specific processes, employee lifecycle management, internal communications, and on-site engagement activities. This role ensures efficient execution of HR services, supports employee experience initiatives, and maintains accurate documentation and system records.

Key Responsibilities


DGA & Administrative Support

  • Serve as backup support for DGA-related functions.
  • Manage and process employment verifications.
  • Provide general shared services and HR administrative support.
  • Monitor and respond to HR mail inquiries.

Employee Experience & Engagement

  • Coordinate and support on-site events and employee engagement activities.
  • Manage recognition programs, including:
    • Creating and distributing anniversary certificates.
    • Tracking and communicating monthly birthdays and anniversaries.
  • Support core value initiatives and related processes.

Internal Communications

  • Develop and distribute internal communications, including:
    • Newsletters
    • Flyers (promotions, achievements, Tech of the Week)
    • Digital signage content
  • Manage recurring communications such as:
    • Weekly "Tech of the Week"
    • Promotions and achievements (as needed)

Onboarding & Offboarding Support

  • Provide administrative support for onboarding processes, including system setup and documentation.
  • Support offboarding processes, including:
    • Drafting letters and documentation
    • Processing terminations across systems (IT, Paylocity, Tracker, etc.)
    • Ensuring proper record retention and filing in Paylocity

HR Systems & Data Management

  • Process employee data and transactions in HR systems.
  • Maintain accurate digital records and support file digitization efforts.
  • Assist with internal changes such as title updates and promotions.

Operational & Technical Support

  • Manage and respond to Jira tickets related to HR support.
  • Provide on-site and operational support for HR initiatives and events.


Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 1-3 years of HR or administrative support experience preferred.
  • Experience with HRIS platforms (e.g., Paylocity) and ticketing systems (e.g., Jira) is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.

The anticipated pay range for this role is between $55,000 and $60,000 dollars which represents our good faith and reasonable estimate of the starting salary range at the time of posting.
