Job description

Description:

Lincoln Hills Development Corporation (LHDC) Housing Program has an opening for a Service Technician working full-time (35-hours per week) based in Corydon, Indiana and working daily in Harrison County and some Crawford County housing properties. This position may also assist at other LHDC housing locations as needed.


The role includes but is not limited to grounds maintenance, cleaning and preparing units to rent, light plumbing, carpentry, painting, and minor repairs. Applicants must be able to work well with the public.

Requirements:

High School graduate or equivalent required. Previous experience or training in grounds and essential residential maintenance is preferred. Applicant must have a valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance and travel locally and out-of-area as necessary. Must be able to pass the necessary background checks required for the position.


LHDC staff work a 4-day work week, Monday to Thursday. LHDC also offers an exceptional array of benefits to all full-time employees, including medical, dental, vision, disability, voluntary life and life insurance, vacation leave, 13 paid holidays, and 401k plan. All LHDC employees are eligible for reimbursement for professional development approved by the organization as long as they have been employed for at least 6 months.
