Job description

Theย Lead Housing Technicianย is responsible forย overseeing the daily operations, safety, and structure of ARCโ€™s transitional housing program. This role serves as the on-site lead for residents and staff, ensuring a safe, supportive, and recovery-focused living environment whileย maintainingย compliance with organizational policies, licensing requirements, and program expectations.ย 

Theย Lead Housing Technicianย acts as a key liaison between residents, clinical teams, housing staff, and leadership, supporting continuity of care and resident accountability during the transition from higher levels of care to independent living.ย 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESย 

Program Oversight & Daily Operationsย 

  • Provide day-to-day oversight of transitional housing operations, ensuring a safe, structured, and supportive environment.ย 

  • Monitor resident adherence to house rules, curfews, expectations, and program requirements.ย 

  • Conduct routine walk-throughs of housing units to ensure cleanliness, safety, and maintenance needs are addressed.ย 

  • Document and report safety concerns, incidents, or policy violationsย in accordance withย ARC procedures.ย 

Resident Support & Accountabilityย 

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for residentsย regardingย housing expectations, schedules, and concerns.ย 

  • Support residents inย maintainingย accountability, structure, and compliance with treatment and recovery plans.ย 

  • De-escalate conflicts or behavioral concerns and escalate issues appropriately when needed.ย 

  • Participate in resident meetings, house meetings, and orientation of new residents.ย 

Staff Leadership & Coordinationย 

  • Provide guidance andย directionย toย Housing Technicians, Recovery Support Staff, or other assigned personnel.ย 

  • Assistย with onboarding and training of housing staff related to house operations, expectations, and documentation.ย 

  • Communicate staffing needs, scheduling issues, and operational concerns to leadership.ย 

Compliance & Documentationย 

  • Ensure compliance with ARC policies, ADHS licensing standards, AHCCCS requirements, and applicable regulations.ย 

  • Complete required documentation, logs, and reports accurately andย timely.ย 

  • Collaborate with clinical, case management, and operations teams to support resident transitions and discharges.ย 

  • Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance at all times.ย 

Collaboration & Communicationย 

  • Work closely with clinical teams, case managers, and leadership to support continuity of care.ย 

  • Communicateย resident progress, concerns, and housing issues effectively and professionally.ย 

  • Participate in meetings, trainings, and quality improvement initiatives as assigned.ย 

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent requiredย 

  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in related field preferredย 

  • CPR/FA Certification โ€“ to be obtained within firstย 30 daysย 

  • Fingerprint Clearance Card โ€“ have current card or show proof of applying within 7 days from hire dateย 

  • Handle with Care โ€“ to be obtained within firstย 30 daysย 

  • Successful clearance of pre-employment criminal/county/state background checkย 

  • Successful clearance of pre-employment drug and alcohol testingย 

  • Successful clearance of TB PPD testing upon hire and annual screening of TB symptomsย 

  • Attending clinical oversight with BHP once every 2 weeks worked for a minimum of 2 sessions per month.ย
